Where Our Story Begins

Founded in 2000 with a clear vision—to deliver uncompromising quality and absolute reliability—VMX began as a precision connector piece-part manufacturer. Those early years were defined by a relentless focus on manufacturing excellence and building trust with customers. We build capabilities for the long term, even when the path is difficult. This perspective has allowed us to weather market challenges.​

2017 · Transformation

From Manufacturer to Solutions Partner

By 2017, we knew that we were meant to do more from the years in the interconnect industry. We decided to strategically expand to transform VMX from a manufacturer into a complete interconnect solutions partner. Our engineering team now tackles everything from adapting proven designs to new military specifications, to developing pressure-tight hermetic connectors for extreme ocean depths, to creating turnkey interconnect solutions. We partner with over 10+ DRDO labs to transform requirements-to-concept-to- production engineering, develop custom solutions for harsh environments, and deliver specialized underwater and subsea systems.​

Today, VMX operates from a fully integrated 60,000+ square foot area across 3 plants in India. We employ a highly skilled workforce of machinists, plating technicians, molding specialists, test engineers, and assembly experts—all working under unified quality systems certified to the aerospace industry's most demanding standards.​ Over 25 years, we've built lasting partnerships with customers across aerospace, defense, marine, and industrial sectors worldwide.
