These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Gyvo mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). In these Terms, "Gyvo," "we," "us," and "our" refer to SRI ARUNA RAMANA TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD. "You" means the individual using the Service.
By creating an account, tapping an acceptance button, or using the Service after being shown these Terms, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy is a separate document and explains how personal data, including location data, is handled.
01 What Gyvo Does
Gyvo helps you record, review, organize, and summarize vehicle trips. Depending on your settings, device, permissions, and operating-system behavior, the Service may use location, motion/activity recognition, device sensors, Bluetooth or beacon signals, and background processes to detect or record trips. It may generate route maps, start and end place labels, trip distances, driving events, vehicle-cost estimates, and reports.
Some features require an account, an internet connection, enabled device services, permissions, or compatible hardware. Features may differ by device, operating-system version, region, or app version.
02 Location and Automatic Trip Detection
If you enable trip tracking and grant the required permissions, Gyvo may access your device's location while the app is in use or in the background. Background location may be used to detect movement, record a route, recover a trip after service interruption, and complete or synchronize a trip. You can manage permissions and tracking settings in the app and in your device settings; disabling required permissions or services may limit or stop automatic tracking.
Automatic detection is an assistive feature, not a guarantee. GPS, network location, sensors, Bluetooth, activity recognition, device power controls, connectivity, and third-party operating-system services can be delayed, unavailable, inaccurate, or interrupted. As a result, a trip may start late, stop late, be missed, be recorded only in part, or contain inaccurate route points, distance, speed, events, or place labels. You should review and correct trip records where the app allows it.
Do not rely on Gyvo as a navigation system, emergency service, safety system, odometer, or sole proof of where or when travel occurred.
03 Accounts and Your Responsibilities
You agree to provide information that is accurate and to keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining access to your device and account. Notify us promptly at support@gyvo.in if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
You must use the Service lawfully and only with devices, vehicles, and data you are authorized to use. Do not use the Service while driving in a way that distracts you or violates applicable law. Do not interfere with the Service, attempt to access another person's account or data, reverse engineer or misuse the Service except where applicable law permits, or use it to stalk, monitor, or harm another person.
04 Trip Records, Estimates, and Reports
Trip routes, distances, addresses, event classifications, scores, and cost estimates are generated from available device data and information you provide. They are estimates and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Place labels may identify a nearby street, building, or landmark rather than the exact stopping point. Cost estimates depend on user-entered vehicle mileage and fuel-price information and are not measurements of actual fuel or energy consumption.
You are responsible for checking records before using or sharing them for reimbursement, tax, employment, legal, insurance, or other official purposes. Gyvo does not provide tax, legal, insurance, employment, navigation, or financial advice. We do not represent that a report will meet any employer's, authority's, or other recipient's evidentiary or recordkeeping requirements.
05 Your Content and Permission to Operate the Service
You retain any rights you have in information you submit or create through the Service, including trip and vehicle information ("User Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, and display User Content as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and support the Service, and as otherwise described in the Privacy Policy or authorized by you. This license ends when the relevant User Content is deleted from our systems, subject to backup, legal-retention, and dispute-resolution requirements described in the Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit User Content and authorize the uses described in these Terms.
06 Privacy and Third-Party Services
Our Privacy Policy describes the categories of data we collect, why we use it, how it is shared, and available controls. The Service may depend on third-party services such as cloud hosting, authentication, mapping, geocoding, analytics, crash reporting, or push notifications. Those providers may process data under their own terms and privacy notices. We will identify material service providers and data practices in the Privacy Policy.
The Service requires certain third-party platform services and device capabilities. We are not responsible for their availability or for changes made by their providers, but these Terms do not limit any rights you have under applicable law.
07 Availability, Changes, and Support
We may update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service to maintain security, comply with law, address technical limitations, or change our offerings. Where required by law, we will provide notice or obtain consent. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

08 Fees and Purchases
Gyvo is currently provided without a subscription or in-app purchase. You are responsible for any charges imposed by your mobile carrier, internet provider, or payment provider for connectivity or other services. If we introduce paid features or purchases, we will display the applicable price and terms before purchase; purchases made through Google Play will also be subject to Google Play's payment, cancellation, and refund terms.
09 Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request account or data deletion directly in the main Menu of the Gyvo mobile app (tap Delete Account), via our web portal at gyvo.in/delete-account.html, or by contacting support@gyvo.in (our verification team will contact you to confirm the request), subject to applicable law and the retention provisions in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate access if reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, or our systems; address fraud, abuse, or a material breach of these Terms; or comply with law. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Termination does not remove rights or obligations that accrued before termination.
10 Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and branding, is owned by or licensed to SRI ARUNA RAMANA TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms. No other rights are granted.
11 Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant that trip detection, GPS availability, route reconstruction, distance calculation, place identification, synchronization, or reports will be uninterrupted, timely, complete, accurate, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction.
12 Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SRI ARUNA RAMANA TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for loss of data, profits, business, or goodwill arising from use of or inability to use the Service.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the total amount paid by you to Gyvo for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability, or INR ₹1,000 (whichever is greater). This section does not exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including any mandatory consumer rights or liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or other non-excludable matters.
13 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, where required, provide notice or request your renewed agreement. If you do not agree to a material change, stop using the Service and contact us about your account and data.
14 Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise. Courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable rights to bring a claim elsewhere.
15 General Provisions
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent, except where applicable law permits. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, reorganization, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law. These Terms and the Privacy Policy, together with any feature-specific terms presented to you, form the agreement governing your use of the Service.
